We take our data security responsibilities seriously, employing the most appropriate physical and technical measures. Data Collection – Client Engagements 

We require your basic personal data so that we may provide you with our services, and claim our right to be paid in return for our services, in accordance with our letter of engagement and our standard terms and conditions of business which we agree and sign with you. If you do not provide this information we will be unable to provide the services you have engaged us to provide for you. We will not collect any personal data from you other than such personal data that we require in order to provide and oversee the services we have agreed to provide you with as per our letter of engagement. 

Use of Data – Client Engagements 

All the personal data we hold about you will be processed by our staff in Ireland and no third parties will have access to your personal data unless there is a legal obligation for us to provide them with this. We have set out below the legal bases for the firm to process your data. 

Some of our processing is necessary for compliance with legal obligations. For example, the firm is required to obtain data in order to comply with statutory obligations. 

We may also process data if necessary in the performance of professional engagement with you. We may also communicate with you concerning the information regarding other professional services we can provide to you and update you about our activities where your information is to be used other than in accordance with one of these uses, we will first obtain your written consent to that use. 

How long do we keep Personal Data – Client Engagements 

We will retain your personal data for a minimum of 7 years. After the expiry of 7 years, this data will be destroyed if it is no longer required for the lawful purpose(s) for which it was obtained. In the event that you consent to marketing, any information we use for this purpose will be kept with us until you notify us that you no longer wish to receive this information. 

Sharing your personal data – Client Engagements 

Your personal data will only be shared with third parties including other data controllers where it is necessary for the performance of the data controllers’ tasks or where you first give us your prior consent. It is likely that we will need to share your data with:
